Dyglo-Lipid is my new targeted metabolic health supplement featuring Dyglomera®, a clinically studied extract of the African spice fruit Dichrostachys glomerata that helps restore metabolic balance, support healthy weight, and improve key cardiometabolic markers. Dyglo-Lipid contains the clinically studied Dyglomera® extract featured in published human trials. I’ll be referring to Dyglo-Lipid and Dyglomera® interchangably.
Studies on the patented Dyglomera® extract and other forms of Dichrostachys glomerata collectively have been associated with:
- Increased GLP-1
- Reduced appetite
- Fat loss
- Reduction in waist & hip circumference
- Muscle preservation
- Blood sugar reduction
- Improved insulin sensitivity
- Reduced LDL cholesterol and triglycerides
- Increased HDL (“good”) cholesterol
- Improved platelet function
- Reduced inflammation
- Reduced oxidative stress
- Increased antioxidant blood levels
- Improved liver enzymes
- Better mood
- Reduced stress
- Better sleep
Why Metabolic Health Matters
Metabolic health reflects how efficiently your body turns food into usable energy while keeping blood sugar, blood fats, and inflammation in a healthy range. When this balance is disrupted, people can experience weight gain, blood sugar spikes after meals, oxidative stress, inflammation, increased blood clotting, elevated triglycerides and LDL cholesterol with simultaneous drop in protective HDL cholesterol, and increased cardiometabolic risk. One study found more than 88% of Americans have some degree of metabolic dysfunction.
Dyglo-Lipid was designed to support this balance—helping your metabolism work with you instead of against you.
What Is Dyglomera®?
Dyglomera® is a patented, standardized extract from the fruit pods of the African spice tree Dichrostachys glomerata. It is naturally rich in phenolics, flavonoids, and other bioactive compounds with antioxidant and metabolic effects.
Unlike many botanical formulas that require gram-level dosing, Dyglomera® has shown meaningful clinical benefits at daily intakes as low as 300–400 mg, making it ideal for a compact, once‑daily product like Dyglo-Lipid.
How Dyglo-Lipid Works
Dyglo-Lipid supports metabolic health by targeting three core pathways that drive weight gain and blood sugar dysregulation.
- Helps slow new fat formation (adipogenesis and lipogenesis), reducing the tendency to store excess calories as body fat.
- Enhances fat breakdown (lipolysis), making it easier for your body to tap into stored fat for energy.
- Modulates key hormones—including GLP-1, leptin, adiponectin, and insulin—that regulate appetite, satiety, immune function, inflammation, fat metabolism, energy expenditure, reproduction, cognition, stress, neuropsychiatric status, blood sugar control, and more.
A central mechanism is activation of the energy-sensing enzyme AMPK in fat tissue and 3T3-L1 adipocytes, which signals the body to burn fat and dial down fat storage while upregulating proteins involved in fat breakdown.
Dyglomera® also improved liver enzyme levels (transaminases) in clinical studies—important for the millions with fatty liver tied to metabolic syndrome.
Dyglo-Lipid vs. GLP-1 Drugs
Unlike GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs (e.g., semaglutide or tirzepatide), which mimic synthetic GLP-1 to massively amplify appetite suppression and gastric emptying delays, Dyglo-Lipid works naturally through multi-pathway modulation.
Dyglomera® boosts your body’s own endogenous GLP-1 production (by up to 68%) and inhibits DPP-4 (by ~59%) to prolong its activity, while also activating AMPK for targeted fat metabolism—offering complementary benefits without overriding natural hormone signaling.
This distinction matters for side effects and body composition: GLP-1 drugs often cause nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal distress, and significant lean muscle loss (up to 40% of total weight lost), as their extreme calorie restriction impacts muscle alongside fat.
In contrast, Dyglomera® clinical trials report excellent tolerability with only rare mild digestive changes, no muscle loss signals, and body fat reductions of ~23% that preserve lean mass through AMPK-driven fat-specific mechanisms.
What the Preclinical Science Shows
In high‑fat–fed mice, Dyglomera® supplementation led to less weight gain, reduced body fat, and lower fat accumulation in the liver compared with control animals.
Microscopic analysis of fat tissue showed fewer and smaller lipid droplets, confirming a shift away from fat storage toward fat burning in response to the extract.
These findings laid the groundwork for human trials and help explain why Dyglo-Lipid is positioned as a science‑backed metabolic support formula rather than a simple stimulant‑based “fat burner.”
Human Clinical Results at a Glance
Multiple human trials now support Dyglomera®’s role in weight management, body composition, and cardiometabolic health, with specific biomarker improvements detailed below.
Weight, Body Fat, and Key Lipids
In a 12‑week randomized, double‑blind, placebo‑controlled trial in adults with obesity (300 mg/day Dyglomera®):
Biomarker | Dyglomera® Change | Placebo Change |
Body Weight | −6.7 kg (≈15 lbs) | Minimal (−0.5 kg) |
Body Fat % | −22.8% | Negligible |
LDL Cholesterol | −12.5% | No change |
Triglycerides | −18.2% | No change |
HDL Cholesterol | +9.3% | No change |
These shifts reflect targeted fat loss and improved lipid profiles for better cardiometabolic health. Dyglo-Lipid delivered 6–10% reductions in waist circumference alongside 6.7 kg weight loss—targeting the dangerous visceral fat linked to metabolic syndrome. It also decreased hip circumference.
Blood Sugar and Metabolic Markers
The same trial showed fasting glucose dropping by 11.4% with Dyglomera®, alongside HOMA-IR (insulin resistance) improvements of ~15%, indicating enhanced insulin sensitivity without hypoglycemia risks.
GLP‑1, Appetite, and Satiety
In a separate 12-week trial (400 mg/day, n=90 overweight/obese adults), Dyglomera® delivered:
Biomarker | Dyglomera® Change | Placebo Change |
Endogenous GLP-1 | +68% | +36% (non‑significant) |
DPP-4 Activity | −59% | Minimal change |
Higher GLP-1 supported better post-meal blood sugar control, appetite regulation, and satiety.
Graphs below reflect results from a separate 12-week human clinical study.
Leptin, Adiponectin, and Inflammation
Dyglomera® also normalized leptin (↓ proportional to fat loss, ~20–25%), boosted adiponectin (+14.7%), and reduced CRP (inflammation marker, −16.3%), promoting hormonal balance and lower systemic inflammation. Dyglo-Lipid goes beyond metabolism—Dyglomera also helps maintain healthy blood flow by reducing excessive platelet clumping and clotting risk. In a human placebo-controlled trial, it increased blood antioxidants and reduced markers of oxidative stress – beneficial changes for a long healthspan.
Selected Data Highlights
- Weight: −6.7 kg vs placebo near-zero
- Body fat: −22.8%
- HDL: +9.3%
- Triglycerides: −18.2%
- GLP-1: +68%
- DPP-4: −59%
Dichrostachys Glomerata human studies have also found benefits for mood, stress, and sleep.
Safety and Tolerability
Across clinical studies, Dyglomera® has been well tolerated at 300–400 mg/day, with no serious adverse events—only rare mild GI effects vs. GLP-1 drugs’ frequent nausea/diarrhea, muscle loss risks, adverse effects on skin, hair, teeth, eyes…heartburn, intestinal bacterial overgrowth, and more.
Full toxicology data (subchronic animal studies, genotoxicity) confirm long-term safety for adults.
